The Parenting Network works to support anyone in a parenting role -- mothers, fathers, grandparents or other relatives raising children, whether stepparents, foster parents, adoptive parents, and the parents of tomorrow -- to provide a safe and nurturing home.
Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. In April 2022, we plan to begin transforming Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month into Family Strengthening Month.
Prevention is not only about preventing a negative from occurring, but also about promoting the positive.
The Parenting Network offers a variety of programs and services to support our community in becoming a healthy place for families to live, work and play. Our programs use nationally known, evidence-based curricula.
By providing families with the support, resources and information they need and want, we help strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.

Listen To Your Child
Love Unconditionally
We seek to raise the value society places on children, to provide support and education services to parents and caregivers and to prevent abuse and neglect so that our community's children can develop to their full potential.
We all have a role to play in supporting Wisconsin families.
Our programs don't tell anyone how to be a parent. Instead, we offer practical advice, backed by science and the successes seen by thousands of families. You’ll find tips for a range of issues, from raising toddlers to learning how to cope with complex problems at home. Topics include information about family, communication, self-esteem, routines, stress and anger, discipline, and child development.
The Parenting Network programs include discussion, interactive activities, videos and support from facilitators along with group participation. Our ongoing classes for parents and caregivers are always open for new participants. Various dates, times, and locations offer flexibility. Triple P seminars provide parents with a friendly place to learn, share and seek out support.
Our ears are open at The Parenting Network. Talk out everyday problems. Bedtime whining? Biting? Public meltdowns? Talk honestly about the misbehavior upsetting your family life with a small group of parents like you.
According to Prevent Child Abuse America, "kids raised in safe, stable, and nurturing relationships and environments are more likely to enjoy good physical and mental health and succeed academically and socially. Children who grow up happy and healthy also go on to contribute to economic prosperity for everyone."
Encourage moments of love and compassion throughout April by including your children in activities along with The Parenting Network's virtual events.
"Thank you to all of the wonderful friends, donors, and supporters of the work The Parenting Network has done over the years. You have helped us support parents and their families so they can raise successful children which in turn makes our community stronger and healthier."
The Parenting Network’s commitment to strengthen families and prevent child abuse remains a consistent reminder that you are not alone. Show your support of our April initiative by printing this sign, snap a photo and share it on social.
